Yoga Sanskrit “Yoke” or Union pronounced is a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India and aim to control and still the mind, recognizing a detached by the mind (Chitta) and suffering (Duhkha). There is a wide variety of schools of yoga, practices and goals in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Traditional and Modern yoga is practiced worldwide.
Yoga is an integral part of the co-curricular activities at Manjushree School. We have a dedicated yoga teacher who conducts classes every morning and afternoon, prioritizing the health and well-being of our students.
Practicing yoga “Asana” improves strength, balance, and flexibility. Practicing of pranayama reduce stress and increase your lung capacity. Practicing of kriya evolving the spiritual mind by creating a tranquil and aware state.
Practicing of meditation helps increase your focus and attention and improves your ability to multitask.
Practicing SAVASANA allow the whole body, mind, and spirit to completely relax and reset and promote a sense of overall well-being in daily life.
