Co-Curricular Activities and Sports
Manjushree conducts regular co-curricular activities where students compete under four school houses. These activities foster teamwork, healthy competition, leadership skills, and all-round development, as each house strives to perform their best and win accolades.
Annual Sports Week
Like every year, Manjushree School conducts its Annual Sports Week at the end of the academic session. The event encourages student participation, teamwork, and physical fitness through a variety of sporting activities and competitions, promoting a spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship.
International Yoga Festival
Manjushree actively participates in the International Yoga Festival, promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and mindfulness among students. These sessions help instill discipline, concentration, and a healthy lifestyle, while encouraging students to appreciate the holistic benefits of yoga.
Educational Trip to Bodh Gaya
Manjushree organized an educational trip to Bodh Gaya, offering students a valuable opportunity to learn about the historical and spiritual significance of this sacred site. The visit enriched their understanding of Buddhism, culture, and heritage, while also providing an engaging learning experience beyond the classroom.
Foundation Day Celebration
Like every year, this year too, the alumni of the school took the initiative to organize the Foundation Day celebrations. Continuing the cherished tradition, a picnic was arranged for all students and staff members. The day was filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness, offering everyone an opportunity to relax and bond outside the classroom. The school expresses heartfelt gratitude to the alumni for keeping this beautiful tradition alive and for their continued support and connection with the school community.
The year has been one of growth, innovation, and meaningful progress for Manjushree Vidyapith. Extra-Curricular Activities
As every year, Manjushree School conducts a variety of extra-curricular activities on Saturdays. These activities provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and foster teamwork, creativity, and overall personal growth.
Extempore Speech Competition
Students participated in an Extempore Speech Competition, showcasing their quick thinking, communication skills, and confidence. The event provided a platform for expressing ideas spontaneously and encouraged effective public speaking and critical thinking among students.
Painting Competition
Students displayed their creativity and artistic talents in a Painting Competition. The event encouraged self-expression, imagination, and an appreciation for the visual arts, allowing students to bring their ideas and emotions to life on canvas.
Cultural Competition
At Manjushree Vidyapith, cultural competitions play a vital role in nurturing creativity, talent, and confidence among students. This year, students from all four houses — Gautama, Buddha, Sangha, and Sidhartha — enthusiastically participated in events such as dance, music, drama, and art. These competitions encourage teamwork, self-expression, and appreciation of diverse cultural traditions while fostering a sense of healthy competition and camaraderie.

Extracurricular Activities and Student Life
Teamwork and competition play a central role in the sports experience at Manjushree School. The school offers a variety of sports for students to participate in, including basketball, cricket, badminton, football, table tennis, volleyball, and athletics. These sports not only provide opportunities for students to engage in healthy physical activity but also foster teamwork, cooperation, and the development of essential skills such as communication, leadership, and sportsmanship. Through participation in sports, students learn the value of teamwork, fair play, and the importance of giving their best effort both individually and as part of a team.
At Manjushree Vidyapith, students and teachers are grouped into four houses — Gautama, Buddha, Sangha, and Sidhartha. Every Saturday, house competitions in sports, literary, and cultural events encourage teamwork, creativity, and leadership. The year also featured vibrant celebrations, including Foundation Day, making student life active and enriching.
